Weekly Review of Events in Slovenia from July 24 through 30

Ljubljana, 31 July - The Balkan Stability Pact was again in the centre of attention for Slovene diplomacy, with Slovenia attending the Sarajevo conference and the donor conference for Kosovo in Brussels. Ljubljana has not yet announced the volume of its assistance to Kosovo, but it said it would extend its development and technical assistance projects to the province from neighbouring countries. A delegation from the Russian parliament was on visit in Slovenia, and Parliament Speaker Janez Podobnik met his European counterpart Nicole Fontaine in Brussels.
