Delo: Words, Not Acts Matter
Ljubljana, 2 August - A minister upon whom a shadow of doubt about his violating the constitution has been cast should not be allowed to remain in office. This is how it is in a serious country. But it is different in Slovenia; after a lot of fuss, ministers against whom a motion of interpellation has been filed stay in office. Only two ministers have not survived the interpellation motion after a parliamentary democracy was introduced in Slovenia, which leads to the question of what is wrong with the institute of interpellation, Delo on Monday comments on the fact that the agriculture minister has recently survived the motion of interpellation.
