DARS Promotes Automatic Motorway Toll-Collection

There are currently about 45,000 users of the automatic non-cash toll-collection (ABC) system in Slovenia, which means 17 percent of all motorway users. By the end of the year the number of ABC users is expected to rise to about 60,000. Although the existing ABC system facilities meet the demand at present, the Company for Motorways in Slovenia (DARS) plans to open new ABC tracks on the Postojna motorway and on the stretch to Nova Gorica (west).
