Dynamic Investment Activity in Slovenia

Ljubljana, 7 August - Slovene companies and business enterprises made SIT 197.8 billion (US$ 1.08 billion) of investments in the first half of 1999, up by 26 percent year-on-year. Investment payment increased the most in January (57 percent real growth) to drop in April (0 pc) and rise again in June (45 pc), the Office for Macroeconomic Analyses and Development reported in the July issue of its Economic Mirror Bulletin.
