Slovene Red Cross on the Anniversary of the Geneva Conventions

Secretary General of the Red Cross of Slovenia (RKS) Mirko Jelenic focused Monday's press conference on the 50th anniversary of the Geneva Conventions, the most important international agreement in the field of humanitarian law. The RKS will celebrate the event on 12 August with a reception, given in cooperation with the Slovene foreign ministry; at the reception Slovene efforts to respect the principles of the Geneva Conventions will be stressed, Jelenic stressed.
