Restaurant Service Prices Up after VAT Introduction

Ljubljana, 14 August - The prices of restaurant services rose by 1.5 percent in July, the first month after the value added tax was introduced, over June and by 3.8 percent over December 1998. The prices rose by 4.1 percent over July 1998, the National Statistical Office reported.
