Prekmurje Celebrates 80th Anniversary of Incorporation into Slovenia

A memorial rally marking the 80th anniversary of the incorporation of the eastern region of Prekmurje to Slovenia is taking place in the town of Beltinci, about 40 kilometers east of the regional center of Murska Sobota, on Saturday afternoon. Keynote speaker was Parliament Speaker Janez Podobnik, and the attendants were also addressed by President Milan Kucan.
