Prices to be Controlled by the Government

A new price control law which gives the government the authority to control prices and to its own judgement limit the price of any product or service in the country, is coming into force on Saturday. It will replace the 1991 law on prices which listed the products whose prices were government controlled. It took three years for the new law to come through legislative procedure.
