Strong advances of the Privatisation Investment Fund (PIF) shares was the main feature of the past week at the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LSE). The volume of trading rose to about seven hundred million tolars per day in average, mainly on account of more deals being made on Thursday and Friday. Deals with PIF shares, amounting to SIT 110 million to over SIT 700 million (US$ 600,000 - 3.8 million) per day, dominated the stock exchange as they accounted for over 50 percent of the total turnover.
