Slovene Rescue Team with Sniffer Dogs Completes Mission in Turkey

Ljubljana, 23 August - The 11-member Slovene rescue team which helped Turkey find the survivors of the devastating earthquake since 18 August returned home on Monday evening. "Such rescue operations give you no time to breath, you work around the clock. The situation there is devastating," the head of the team Dusan Necak told STA upon the return. His team had found six survivors, he explained, adding he was not sure whether that was the exact figure as the team did not dig out the survivors, but merely informed the competent teams about any detected signs of life.
