Ljubljana, 26 August - KRSKO/N-PLANT/STEAM/GENERATORS
A ship with two steam generators to be used in upgrading the Krsko Nuclear Plant (NEK) (south-eastern Slovenia) is now near Sicily. The ship sailed off from northern Spain a week ago and is expected to arrive at Slovenia's port of Koper on Saturday. The first generator will start its journey to Krsko on Monday, 30 August, at 8 a.m and is due to arrive on 6 September (the transportation of the second generator is scheduled for 13 to 20 September). The Austrian forwarding company Felbermayr took over the transportation of the generators from the European concern Siemens-Framatome, which are new and do not contain any radioactive substances.
