Alpina Opens a New Store in Ljubljana

Ljubljana, 26 August - COMPANIES/ALPINA/STORE
The Slovene shoe company Alpina opened its biggest store at the new Mercator shopping centre. As much as SIT 60 million (DM 600,000) was invested in the equipment of the store which will employ eight workers. The company expects to sell 40,000 pairs of shoes in worth of SIT 200 million (DM 2 million). Alpina has 42 stores in Slovenia, 25 in Croatia, eleven in Bosnia and two in Hungary, where another one is being set up.
