More Government Money for Agriculture

Gornja Radgona, 26 August - The government has not allocated enough money for agriculture in recent years which has already backfired although the damage is not irreparable, Deputy Prime Minister Marjan Podobnik said Thursday at the Gornja Radgona Agriculture Fair. He said, however, that provided sufficient funds are available in the budget for direct payments to farmers and other agriculture reform policy measures this year, similar to those in the EU, Slovenia can expect substantial funds from EU funds in the coming years.
