Weekly Review of Events in Slovenia from 21 through 27 August
Ljubljana, 28 August - No major developments occurred in Slovenia in the last week of August. A Slovene rescue team with sniffer dogs returned from Turkey, where it found six earthquake survivors under the rubble. To help Turkey, the government allocated the humanitarian aid in the form of tents, food, medicines and medical equipment in the value of DM 360,000, while the Red Cross Slovenia sent potable bottled water in the value of DM 180,000.
