Lek Records SIT 1.38 Billion Net Profits in the Half-Year

Pharmaceutical company Lek grossed SIT 24.2 billion (122 million euros) in the first half-year, which is two percent more than planned and a four-percent decrease compared to the same 1998 period. The operating profit totalled SIT 2.3 billion, a 22-percent increase compared to the first 1998 half-year period, while the net profit totalled SIT 1.38 billion, a 38-percent decrease compared to the same 1998 period.
