Presidents of Chambers of Commerce from SE Europe Discuss Reconstruction of the Region

The presidents of the chambers of commerce from Southeastern Europe who gathered in Ljubljana Tuesday for a working meeting agreed that there are great opportunities for co-operation in the region and that the chambers of commerce should play a leading role in it. The economic development of Southeastern Europe is possible only with the Europeanisation of the region, the participants agreed, forming concrete proposals for the chambers of commerce to efficiently take part in the economic reconstruction. The proposals will be submitted to the EU's coordinator for the Pact, Bodo Hombach.
