Government Adopts National Environmental Protection Programme

Ljubljana, 2 September - The government prepared the draft national programme for environmental protection for third reading on Thursday. According to Minister of Environment and Physical Planning Pavel Gantar, the programme has been harmonised with all those agencies and organisations involved in the protection of the environment. The programme's main goal is to secure a better living environment in Slovenia and making the environment the element which both puts limits to and encourages development.
