Vecer: Prime Minister Drnovsek Is Returning

The only two unknowns in the upcoming political autumn in Slovenia remain the future electoral system and the health of the prime minister, who according to the assurances of the cabinet is returning. The decision of the constitutional court, which has many opponents and critics, says that the parliament should enact the majority electoral system by the next elections in 2000. Until now the representatives (mainly of the left) have only voted against the decision of the highest court. Hidden in there is also the possibility of a political crisis, the Maribor daily Vecer writes Friday.
