Dnevnik on Truckers' Demands and Monday's Roadblock

The Slovene public does not support the form the recent protest of the truckers has taken, according to an opinion poll published in Wednesday's Dnevnik. Nearly 55 percent of respondents were convinced that roadblocks are not an acceptable way of dealing with problems. However, those polled showed a great deal of understanding for the truckers' demands - nearly 51 percent of them considered the demands justified.
