Reliability of the Operation of NEK at a High Level

Ljubljana, 9 September - Besides the record production and use, the reliability of the Operation of N-Plant Krsko (NEK) was at a high level in 1998. Last year there was not an unplanned stoppage of electricity, assessed an extensive Report on Nuclear and Radiation Safety in Slovenia in 1998, which was prepared by the Administration for Nuclear Safety (URSJV) in cooperation with the Health Inspectorate (ZIRS) and the Administration for Civil Protection and Disaster Relief (URSZR).
