Friendship Encourages Trade

The chief objective of a five-day visit to Slovenia of the Slovene Friendship Group delegation in the Australian parliament is to encourage trade between the countries, since Australia represents a "great challenge" to Slovenia, Ciril Pucko, the president of the Australian Friendship group in the Slovene Parliament, stressed at a news conference on Thursday. The president of the Slovene friendship group in the Australian parliament and Tasmania senator, Paul Henry Calvert, and chairman of the parliamentary foreign affairs, defence and trade committee, senator Alan Baird Ferguson, were impressed by Slovene development and the country's natural beauty.
