Minister Bergauer: "Motorway Programme Is Not Becoming More Expensive, But Merely Deprived of Some Funds"

It could easily happen that the national motorway programme might become more expensive or will have to be prolonged for two or more years if the reduction of a special petrol tax continues and if an appropriate compensation is not found for the effect of VAT which has made the construction of motorways more expensive by around 13 percent, Minister of Transportation and Communications Anton Bergauer said in an interview with the national radio Thursday.
