Ahtisaari: Slovenia Will Decide on Its Role in the Pact Alone

Helsinki, 13 September - National Assembly Speaker Janez Podobnik and a Slovene parliamentary delegation have been received by Finland's President Martti Ahtisaari after arriving in Finland for a three-day official visit on Monday. Ahead of the forthcoming parliamentary debate on Slovenia's role in the Balkan Stability Pact, Ahtisaari stressed that "Slovenia will decide itself on its role in the Pact".
