Delo on Bomb Attacks in Russia

Ljubljana, 14 September - The Russian leadership has already found a scapegoat for the recent bomb attacks in Moscow. It has decidedly pointed to the Caucasus, where blood has been shed for the second time during Yeltsin's rule. It is highly likely that the explosions can be blamed on Caucasian extremists. And there is no excuse for what they have done. However, the Kremlin is forgetting that part of responsibility for the current Caucasian drama - and the bloodshed in Moscow - should be assumed by Russia itself, Delo writes on Tuesday.
