Delo: The Motorway Programme Is No Dogma, says DARS Director
Ljubljana, 14 September - PRESS/MOTORWAYS
The costs of Slovene motorway programme will definitely not amount to SIT 10 billion (DM 100 million), but will total less than SIT 5 billion (DM 50 million), said Janez Bozic, president of the management board of the Company for Motorways in Slovenia (DARS) in an interview for Tuesday's Delo. If the costs were so high, the motorways would not be built even in ten or 15 years, because we could not secure that amount of money. Bozic also said that the planned motorways and other roads would not be open to traffic by the end of 2004 as was planned, but at least two or three years later.
