Greenpeace Opposes Nuclear Energy in General

Not only does Greenpeace advocate the closure of the Krsko Nuclear Power Plant, but leads a fight against nuclear energy worldwide. Harald Krauter of the international environmental organisation on Tuesday rejected what he called inaccurate interpretations found in Slovene media, namely that "Greenpeace worked on behalf of the Austrian government or even Governor General of Carinthia Joerg Heider" while staging a protest during transportation of the first steam generator for the Slovene N-plant.
