First Claim to Property Right by EU Citizen Approved

The first decision establishing the reciprocity for acquiring a property right by a foreign citizen in Slovenia has been issued by the Ministry of Justice on the basis of Annex 13 to the Association Agreement between Slovenia and the EU and the Reciprocity Act. The property in question is a flat in Ljubljana and the claim filed by an Austrian citizen was approved, Bostjan Tratar, a ministry advisor, told the STA on Wednesday.
