150 Years Since the First Train Arrived in Ljubljana

150th years to the day the first trained arrived in Ljubljana, thus opening the railway route between Ljubljana and Celje. It was on 16 September 1849 that the first train arrived in the Slovene capital from Celje, northeastern Slovenia, an event marking the advent of railway to the territory of former Yugoslavia.
