Ljubljana, 17 September - The expansion of the EU is similar to most of the projects of the long gone Mitterrand-Kohl generation of European politicians hanging on thin strings with the upcoming deadline getting only thinner. Commissioner Verheugen in charge of expansion admitted himself that the entrance of candidates into the EU is understood as a German one and one that the Germans should pay for, writes Friday's Delo.
