Corruption - Phenomenon, Which Knows No Borders
Ljubljana, 17 September - Corruption is a very old phenomenon and a problem which does not discriminate, the participants in the conference with the title Corruption in Central and Eastern Europe at the Dawn of the Millenium which began Friday stressed. Corruption has therefore become an international problem. It is widespread and threatens the development of a country, as it influences its economy, social fairness, human rights, also the order of the country and its democratic institutions. Therefore all nations must work together to solve the problem, was said at the start of this two-day meeting.
