The Pope Addresses the Crowed in Slovene, Croatian, German, Italian and Hungarian

Maribor, 19 September - POPE/SLOVENIA/ADDRESS
The Pope offered a hearty welcome to the pilgrims who have come to attend the holy mass from Slovenia and abroad. Their presence gave the pope an opportunity to remind them of the innocent victims of wars and totalitarian regimes, particularly those buried in mass graves recently discovered in the vicinity of Maribor. "Let such dramatic events never be repeated again. Let God bestow the precious gift of peace" to Slovenia and to all the countries of Europe and the whole world.
