Slovene Exhibitors at Zagreb Fair Not Exactly Enthusiastic

The 75th Autumn International Zagreb Fair, which ended on Sunday, featured 140 Slovene exhibitors. While the fair is a great opportunity to create new business contacts and to preserve old ones, the Slovene exhibitors were not satisfied with this years attendance. The major obstacle between Slovene and Croatian business cooperation are problems of liquidity in the Croatian economy and the discipline or lack of it in Croatian companies. The trade in goods between Croatia and Slovenia has fallen since the independence of both states in 1991.
