PIF Shares Mark Friday's Trading

Ljubljana, 25 September - STOCK/EXCHANGE/SECURITIES
This week's trading at the Ljubljana Stock Exchange was marked by a low turnover in major shares, a number of deals with bonds and a great interest in the shares of the privatisation investment fund (PIF), said Natasa Jancar Jovanovski of the SKB bank. Trading at the official stock exchange market amounted to almost SIT 5.5 billion (DM 55 million) this week. The SBI share index fell by 11.79 points, 0.61 percent to 1908.33 points, the PIF stock index PIX went up by 4.13 percent (57.49) points and closed this week at 1446.76 points.
