Bavcar Surprised at Denationalisation Issue in Accession Talks

The fact that the EU addressed the issue of denationalisation at the accession negotiations took Ljubljana by surprise, as denationalisation is not part of the acquis and consequently not part of the legislation screening, Slovene Minister for European Affairs Igor Bavcar said after the EU brought up the issue of denationalization as regards the principle of non-discrimination at Thursday's accession negotiations with Slovenia on the free movement of capital.
