Ljubljana, 1 December - INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS COMMITTEE ON FINANCIAL DIFFICULTIES OF SLOVENIAN MINORITIES=
Olga Šturm Kocjan, the leader of the Committee's working group and a parliamentary deputy, proposed that the Slovenian government should sign agreements in this field with the relevant neighbouring countries as soon as possible, so that the cultural identity of the Slovenian minorities in these countries can be protected. Šturm Kocjan suggested that Slovenia should open a consulate in Szentgotth rd in Hungary, similar to the consulates Slovenia has opened in Klagenfurt and Trieste.
