Bizjak: Increasing Number of Tax-Related Cases

Ljubljana, 2 November - The Slovene Ombudsman, Ivan Bizjak, urged for finding a final solution to the issue of mass graves of those who were killed after WW II by communists, stressed that the law on the fund to pay war damages should be passed as soon as possible and explained that the largest amounts of cases he gets are related to taxes. Bizjak, who spoke to the press on Tuesday to present his recent activities, said that in the January-to-October period 2,752 complaints were filed with his office, up 1.4 percent from a year earlier.
