Slovene Mountaineer Nearly Reaches Peak of Daulagiri

Slovene mountaineer Tomaz Humar, who has attempted to climb the over 8,000-metre Daulagiri in the Himalayas, stopped climbing today just some 200 metres below the peak due to bad wether after he was the the first man ever to climb its dangerous southern wall on Monday, Slovenia's national radio reported on Tuesdday evening.
