Countries of SE Europe Have Great Expectations for the Pact

Ljubljana, 3 November - Countries from SE Europe have very concrete expectations regarding the Balkan Stability Pact, as they see opportunity for financial help for economic reconstruction in the short term, and in the long term hope to meet the conditions to join Euro-Atlantic organisations, which should stabilise the region. These were the findings of a discussion on the Pact that took place on Wednesday as part of the international parliamentary conference "Slovenia and Other Candidate Nations on the Way to the EU - and Parliament's Role in the EU Accession Process" in Ljubljana.
