Slovenia Can Contribute to Stability in SE Europe

Ljubljana, 3 November - Economically and politically, Slovenia is strong and stable enough to contribute to the stability of Southeastern Europe, said Jelko Kacin, the chairman of the Slovene parliamentary committee for international relations, at the conclusion of a two-day parliamentary conference entitled "Slovenia and Other Candidate Nations on the Way to the EU - and Parliament's Role in the EU Accession Process". Conference also showed that there is no alternative to Slovenia's EU membership, Kacin said.
