Adriatic Makes SIT 400 Million Profits This Year

Slovene insurance company Adriatic made SIT 400 million (DM 4 million) pre-tax profits in the first nine months of 1999 according to preliminary data. Adriatic will invest the profit in the indemnity fund, where the company currently records a deficit, said Dusan Novak, chairman of the Adriatic board, at a news conference on Wednesday.
