The Adoption of the Acquis Good at the Moment, but There is Concern for the Future

Slovenia had realised 83 percent of the national programme for the adoption of the acquis until 2002 by the end of last September, which marks an improvement compared to the past periods, a state secretary in the Government Office for European Affairs said at Thursday's session of the parliamentary European affairs commission. Andrej Engelman warned, however, that the expected realisation for the next period, or better for the whole year, was not too good, although the realisation should come close to 100 percent.
