Campaigning for the 2000 parliamentary elections must not slow down the pace of adopting European legislation, parliamentary parties and the government agreed at a parliamentary party coordination session on Thursday afternoon. The coordination met behind closed doors this afternoon to discuss the European Commission report on Slovenia's progress towards accession and the EU veterinary inspection findings that led to a potential embargo on red meat exports from Slovenia.
