SKB's Nine-Month Gross Profits Down 60 Percent

Ljubljana, 5 November - BANK/SKB/OPERATIONS
Total assets of the bank SKB totalled SIT 325.8 billion (DM 3.258 million) at the end of September, up SIT 44.5 billion (DM 445 million) from the beginning of 1999, while the bank's gross profits amounted to SIT 545 million (DM 5.45 million), (or 832.4 million when international accounting standards apply), a drop of 60 percent from the same period last year.
