President Kucan Offers Condolences upon Stukelj's Death

Leon Stukelj had worked hard all his life, he had reached for the wisdom of life and won Olympic laurel. He combined the spirit and the body in a harmonious whole. "Slovenia is mourning such a man with all sincerity," Slovene President Milan Kucan wrote upon the death of the oldest Olympic champion in a letter of condolence to Stukelj's wife on Monday.
