Metalna Goes Bankrupt

Maribor, 8 November - METALNA/BANKRUPTCY
Two Metalna subsidiaries, namely Metalna ECCE and Splosna stavbna druzba went bankrupt on Friday, thus ending the 80-year tradition of one of the largest European companies of its kind which used to employ 4,200 workers. The Maribor-based company has been producing the equipment for power plants and complex cranes.
