State Secretaries of Slovenia, Italy and Hungary to Meet in Trieste

Ljubljana, 9 November - SLOVENIA/ITALY/HUNGARY/TRILATERAL/MEETING
Slovene Foreign Ministry State Secretary Franco Juri will attend a meeting by foreign ministry state secretaries from Slovenia, Italy and Hungary in Italy's Trieste on Friday. Trilateral co-operation is one of the regional initiatives most important to Slovenia's foreign policy. It does not involve only economic and transport initiatives of the Fifth Corridor and the co-operation between the Slovene port of Koper and Italy's Trieste, but also includes the strengthening of relations with two neighbouring countries, both NATO members, Italy - a EU member state, and Hungary - a strong EU candidate, stressed Juri at a news conference in Ljubljana on Tuesday.
