Last Respects Paid to Olympic Champion Stukelj

Maribor, 12 November - SPORTS/STUKELJ/MEMORIAL/CEREMONY
Last respects were paid to Leon Stukelj, the eldest Olympic champion who died on Monday at the age of 100, by Slovenia's sports officials and athletes as well as a number of his fellow citizens at the Maribor cemetery Dobrava on Friday. The keynote speaker was Stukelj's "successor" Miro Cerar, a winner of many medals at international gymnastic competitions.
