Campaign to Raise Awareness about Violence against Women

Ljubljana, 15 November - WOMEN/VIOLENCE/CAMPAIGN
A campaign aimed at raising awareness about violence against women will be launched in Slovenia on Tuesday under the slogan 'What's the Matter, Girl'. The campaign has been organised by NGOs involved with the issue, the parliamentary commission for the policy of equal opportunities and Government Office for Women's Policy. Until 15 December several events, debates and round-table discussions will be staged in an effort to reach the widest circle of people affected and those able to offer their help.
