Delo: China-Flavoured Globalisation

Ljubljana, 16 November - By signing the agreement with the U.S. on the entry into the WTO, China did not only secure its own WTO membership, but showed it cannot avoid globalisation anymore regardless of how much it can threaten China's political and social stability. This decision has of course been taken by Beijing with difficulty, but at the highest political level. The difficulties were such as to generate open faction disputes China has not seen since when the author of the reforms, Deng Xiaoping, died, Tuesday's Delo writes.
