September Unemployment Rate Totals 13.1 Percent

Slovenia recorded a labour force of 881,391 in September, of which 766,055 were persons in employment. This was 0.4 percent more than in August and a rise of 2.5 percent compared to September 1998, the National Statistical Office reported on Tuesday. Unemployment rate totalled 13.1 percent, a drop of 0.2 percent compared to the previous month.
